Review of PANAS (Dupont Circle)

I was checking my emails the other day and I got an email from Belly (similar to groupon, livingsocial) it said that I can get 2 Free Empanadas and Ceviche from a restaurant called "Panas". So i started to googlear the restaurante. I was lured into the menu with the variety of empanadas, appetizers, and all the food choices they have.

Once I read "Jamundi" Cholados I closed my laptop and hopped in the beamer. On my way there and spending about 15 minutes looking for parking (Dupont Circle, go figure). I thought to myself about how if I were to ever open a restaurant it would be this. I had this foody idea since early 2000.
Empanadas is a great munch especially for people on the go or that just want to sit and enjoy them. In Chile empanadas are baked and in Colombia they are fried. Jamaica has empanadas as well, they call them Beef Patties. In Bolivia they are similar and called Salteñas.

When I entered "Panas" I was overwealmed by the menu. The Belly card system is real cool. They have an ipad at the register and you just scan your card. The cashier says congrats you can get 2 free empanands and a ceviche. I ordered 3 extra empandas, an order of ticos, and 2 jugo de mora (blackberry juice). The empanadas that I ordered were the tamal, 2 chicken pesto, and the carne ones.

The setting of the place was nice. It was not too crowded and the decor made it seem ecofriendly. If I were to have a restaurant this is excactly how I would do it. They did a good job and I look forward to seeing them expand, on top of that The food was made with organic ingredients and the juice was off the alambre.......

I give it an A+++++++
