I just copped some new Hip Hop albums. Yes i still buy CD's. I only buy CDs if its something that I support. In this case HipHop needs support it has been eatn by HipPop.
I recently got the new SlaughterHouse, Raekwon, & Meth&Red album. Belive it or not to this day i have never bought an original Lil Wayne or 50Cent CD (only bootlegs even thhough i got respect for them). I have never learned how to do the Superman or even seen the video. I dont listen to the radio (i only listen to the rock stations) I dont watch MTV or BET (i dont have cable i have the internet). But today what mainstream thinks is HipHop is really HipPop. MTV does their annual best mcs and did include Eminem ? WTF? Eminem sold how many copys this year and had the hottest verse between Drake,Wayne,Kanye. Shout outs to KRSOne for spekain the truth on DefJam.
